What tools on your tractor?

???
The pic was one my daughter took while backing the wife's deanil down the block long driveway that has a few twists and turns in it.
As for stabbin the ball under the trailer, if thats what your talking about, I have no problem handling that one, no dents in the bumper or tag either.
No camera needed here for trailer hookin up, Its actaull a pretty easy process, that I have done a few thousand times in my life it seams.

If avitars were in realtion to our tractor experiences then your would make you a tractor voyeur?

anyone know of a handy mounting braket for a fire supression device? perfer to have it on the rops

Doesnt anyone read my posts?;) Check post 36 above to mount your fire extinguisher. :)

On second thought, I suppose all you need is a metal bracket for the top nozzle to sit in, then just use a zip tie. That way, when you need it in a hurry, a quick tug and the zip tie would break.

Yep, I have a bracket (came with my Kidde extinguisher) that holds it just like the one shown at the very top of the page (and listed down below). But, in the brush, or with enough vibration (?) you may accidentally open it up....therefore I put a bungee cord around it to hold it in place. Never had a problem as such....and the bungee cord also holds my loppers.

I believe most fire extinguishers are available with a wall type bracket and with "vehicle-type mounts".

A lot of you have mentioned fire extinguishers mounted to your tractors and some of you (thank you foggy1111) even posted a pic ! It does make sense. I was at the PX today and they sell the little ones for $14. It only makes sense to secure one to the ROPS.

Workin sorry I was making a joke. I was meaning you look stuck in that position from how we all have to twist on the tractor, to operate things on the 3 pt hitch.

Fire Ext. bracket: 3" or 4" PVC pipe (size to fit your ext.). If you glue a cap on the bottom of the pipe, drill some holes in the cap to let dirt and water fall out. Stuff a piece of foam rubber in between the fire ext. and the pipe to keep the ext. from bouncing and vibrating. You don't have to use a pipe cap on the bottom, a cross bolt or flat strap will do. One advantage to the pipe "bracket" is the ext. is easy to just lift up out of the pipe when you are in panic mode fighting a fire, no need to release a strap or unhook a bungee. Use just enough foam rubber, or piece of sponge, whatever, to hold the ext. just tight enough that it doesn't bounce around, but loose enough so it will slide right out. Most small extinguishers are aluminum, and if you put it in the pipe with no cushioning, and it bounces and vibrates, it will wear a hole in the ext.

Just curious; did your ROPS come with a place for the toolbox or did you add it?
