What trailer should I get for Kubota Tractor, and what should I pay?

I think a 18 foot 7k trailer is enough for your tractor. That would allow a load of 5000 pounds or a little more. I own a 7k, 16 foot deck and a 2 foot dovetail trailer. I paid something like $2200 for it 12 years ago, it’s probably nearly double that today. My deck is wood and the dovetail is steel. I don’t like the steel because it’s very slick if it’s a little wet. Both the wood and steel are in good shape steel. Don’t forget to get brakes on both axles, I only have brakes on one axle on mine.

I thought about drilling some drain holes, but I do keep it parked under a shed. I still may do that at some point.

I wanted them recessed because I will haul mulch and whatnot occasionally, and wanted a flat surface so I can scrape it out with the bucket.

I built some sides that go into the stake pockets to contain the loose material. There is a back that goes on when needed. Eyes are attached for a tarp.

Isnt it a bit of task to get it out the back with the wood and the steel ramp together like that?

I'm not sure I understand when you say "wood and steel ramp together". Drive up, scoop, back down. Same as loading or unloading. And/or remove a side (s) and scrape from the ground.

My first question would be, what are you pulling the trailer with? If you have a weenie truck better upgrade that first. Myself, I prefer a Goose Neck over a bumper pull any day. Tandem axle GN at least with a beaver tail so you can drive on and off easily.

I just looked at a 20' 10K trailer and it was selling for $5900 on the lot. I bought the same trailer in the 18' version in 2017 for $3500 out the door. Yeah, prices have gone up more than just a bit on these. I saw the identical unit to mine for sale for $6300.
It was plenty of trailer for my Ford 1715 with a FEL, loaded tires and a 500# ballast box, but with the new NH B50H it is going to be just the tractor only. I wish I had gotten the 20' or 22' 14k trailer, but I never expected to have that large of a tractor.

On steel vs wood deck, I prefer wood. The coefficient of friction is considerably higher. i.e. stuff is less likely to slide.

Yeah, and when you come along something without wheels, it's less likely to slide. I love my all steel trailer I bought in 1999. Guess how many times I've replaced the wood that ain't there? It sits outside year round, don't hurt a thing. I do cover the Ramsey winch on front.

I would say Big Tex or Texas Brag. Out of MT Pleasant TX. There's a lot of trailer places there. I'm in SW Arkansas, so it's not far for me. You can probably research on the line. We use a couple eight lug tilt trailers to go clean up hurry canes. Back skid steer off and leave him and go cut trees out of the way. He gets them out of road then drives up on trailer and gets off at the next one. We never latch it. He rides on trailer in skid steer.

That's a issue, but I would want to stay with a Toyota truck, Tundra would be the only choice.
So with a half ton truck, you need to stay with a 7-10k lighter trailer, 18-20’ maximum.

I know you aren't hoisting that supersack with that tiny tractor if it's full of what appears to be concrete blocks.
