I need to replace a 3/8" angle cylinder hose on my small dozer. The hose runs along the top of the blade arm and under the cylinder so it is somewhat protected. I can't find any markings on the old hose to tell me what it is. The dozer has a 2000 psi system. Is R2 hose the thing to use or should I use something with a tougher hide on it ?? I'm just learning about dozer things. Thanks

Gordon, R2 should be fine. That is what I used on my old Case 310 dozer when I ran all new hoses on it a couple of years ago. I used all reusable fittings and hose from Discount Hydraulic Hose.

I concur with Brian. SAE 100R2AT hose is your best bet. It's plenty rugged, and inexpensive. Plus, as he pointed out, there are reusable fittings available if you want to use them.
