Nice looking New Holland. I have one too, but my paint is faded. By applicator, I presume you mean a Greensaver spray head setup? If the previous owner used the old style Greensaver, make sure you wash the bailer thoroughly, especially the bale chamber and plunger area. The old style Greensaver was corrosive to metal parts. Did you get a manual with it?? Lastly, are the knotters tight? The key ways tend to get a little sloppy and it makes the knotter brake work that much harder.

The knotters are fine, I do not know what chemicals were used but there are a lot of different preservatives and acids on the market as you know. Either way, the entire machine looks like new and I will try to find out how old it is tomorrow when I visit my other dealer. I did get the manual as well as the thrower manual and the assembly instructions to put the baler together from the crate it originally ships in and a few other manuals the dealer tossed in for some reason.
