What would you like to see the tractor manufacturers to make.

I started out my tractor search looking at tool cats. My take away was that after 1500 hours in Minnesota and the drive motors would begin spitting out error codes, and then I saw two different tool cat videos where the machine was stuck for no good reason, one in snow, another trying to drive up a low grade construction site.
--------------------.
The Toolcat G Series has a solution for that, called "Traction Control System":

Maintain performance in challenging conditions with the traction control system. It automatically redistributes torque to the wheels when you encounter wheel spin from low-traction conditions or uneven ground situations, which is better than locking and limited slip differential systems. You can turn off the system using a switch in the cab. It is standard on the 5610 and available as an option on the 5600.

But I haven't seen any user reports of how effective it is.

Something I'm noticing in quite a few of the responses is about higher performance large tractor type outputs.

But the fact is . . the buying market has shifted greatly in the last 3 years. The large tractor and large output equipment has dropped in desire greatly as buyers by number have exploded in scut and small to mid cut sizes.

My point is . . . if wish lists are about what the market would seek and desire . . . shouldn't it be in the scut and early to mid cut categories ?

No.

What would you like to see in a tractor, maybe your version of the ideal tractor. ------------------------------------------------------ What about y'all, what would you like. Heck it's almost Christmas, we can all dream.

I agree, I have no interest in a scut or small to mid cut size. The OP asked what I would like to see tractor manufactures make.

Get rid of the 3ph forever and come up with something easy and standard like a quick hitch.

At least the option of having an auto shutdown in case of "out of limit" condition, for stationary use.

LOL. I cuss the 3 point and PTO regularly. I can swap out the front bucket without leaving the tractor but have to go back and beat rear attachments on getting on and off the tractor several times. Hooking up hydraulic hoses is a breeze compared to attaching driveshafts to a PTO as well, and gives you the option to reverse direction. Also having down pressure (which most 3 points hitches lack) is a huge advantage for things like running an auger.

Simply mounting a skid steer QA instead of a 3 point would be the easiest improvement. Problem is the little tractors dont have the hydraulics to run many of the skids steer attachments which can require 20+ gpm at 2000+ PSI. My last CUT was a 45 HP Bobcat (Kioti) and it had something like 8 gpm at 1500 psi. Would barely run a log splitter let alone a real attachment like hydraulic auger.

I also would like to see a CUT with a larger front axle/tires and increased lift capacity. Most of these tractor some with loaders and are used near the max load (which is usually very little) which puts more pressure on the front axle than the rear. No reason to have little front tires like and old tractor designed for pulling only. This pic is a perfect example of little axle and tires holding up 90% of the weight (probably over 5,000 pounds).

A decent size tractor (100+HP) with HST.

SSQA is made for pushing. It wouldn't hold up very good in a pulling application like a 3 point hitch.

This is the SSQA on the Toolcat.

It is plenty strong in a pulling application with a 6' high back box blade.

Toolcat has a lot to like but at a pretty good price, so I guess I want a cheaper one.
Non clogging radiator
Cab forward is interesting
Tougher longer lasting front tires
Faster transport speed

A beefed up RTV with PTO and three point would have a large market place. An RTV 3800 with PTO and three point, and FEL. Tool Cat gets close but it's to big, to expensive, to complicated, it's more a cross of a bob cat and UTV. The cross should be RTV and tractor. HS

I like that one too.

The 13.5MPH on my kubota sucks. We cut wood at one location that is 3 miles of road away. Have to drive the tractor there, as towing it on the trailer really dont work well cause I can only tow the tractor. Like to have to wood hauling trailer in tow too so I can get around in the woods easier.

Loaders are nice for firewood cutting, but use dads 8n alot to "shuttle" trailers to/from as his has ~23-25MPH road gear.
