One added thing to my earlier post: I have done the same thing when I first got my CK20, and it HAS a red light in the dash to tell you. I just didn't look at the dash! I only drove a little as I could feel it was not going as it should. I later adjusted the brake a little tighter, and now if I try to go with it on, the HST pressure relief kicks in and lets me know. If you have concerns about the Hydrofluid, it doesn't cost that much to change it out. If you think it got that hot, I'd change it just to be sure. You want good lube properties after all. John
