what year is my tractor and specs?

Look under the hood for the id decal or on the transmission ledge behind the starter for the date code, model code and serial number. If it is a '77, the date code will be something like 7B18B. The first number is the year, the letter A thru M except the letter I will indicate month with A=Jan, M= Dec. Second number is the day and last letter is shift. Most often, the shift is B or day shift.

1977 would be a 4600 and not a 4610 I think a 4610 started in 1982
Look at Tractordata.com. They have information about serial numbers and show specs

It won't be a a 1977 4610 because the 10 Series didn't come out til 1982. The serial number is stamped on bell housing just above the starter. What is that number/

If it's the C538652 then it's a '77 4600 made in Ford's Romeo, Michigan plant.
