I just use one of my front end loaders to lift up the mower and remove-replace the blades. I pick then up using a chain and the loader bucket. I also use that method to clean the underside of the deck to remove the built up grass that gets accumulated on the bottom of the deck in corners and around the spindles...with a putty knife. You leave that compacted grass on there, it will cause the deck to rust out prematurely.

Pressure washer works great to.

I mow dry grass, so I never really have to clean the deck. Once per year I dress the blades and change oil.

My Country Clipper has a "stand up deck". Once you have the procedure down it takes under 2 minutes to lower the deck, release the latches, unhook the belt, then lift the front of the mower. Back of the deck falls down hinges at front holding the mower up and the deck is now vertical facing forward.

Got the blades off and sharpened. Will post photos in a bit. Funny to have them unattached to each other with no belt.

I really like the concept of some e-riders with beltless independent electric motors turning each blade. I blow a belt up north im driving over 50 miles to hopefully find a replacement after spending an hour on the telephone.

I too like one motor per blade. But the jury is still out on future repairs. Spindle replacement is common but not routine. Spindle plus motor can be painful.

The Bad Boy electric has one motor per blade. One motor per wheel. The rest is tradition steel Bad Boy.

I'd like an electric stand on... They are just too damn expensive at this point. Not worth it when every dime you make goes to pay for the mower you are using.
