"Saved me about $7.00"<<<<Do that a few time and that adds up. One thing I watch for on ebay is where the item is located, lot of times I see stuff in other country's, that could mean a mouth or more to get the item.

Amazon does use temporary help this time of year. Search Amazon Camperforce where they hire fulltime RV'ers to handle the Christmas rush.
Many states (29 according to Amazon plus DC) now collect tax through Amazon as I found out by buying something for my parents who live in IL.

I use prime also but usually only buy prime items.If products are not here on time I give them a call and ask them what am I paying for if it is not here on time.Needless to say I have made more than my prime membership cost by getting the items free.One item was around $200.

I started with Prime when I bought a Kindle for someone. It was free for a period. I bought a fire stick and with Prime it gives us a lot of great shows and movies for free. My job also gives me a significant amount of money in Amazon GC, so we get our money worth from Prime. It certainly is still something to shop around on prices though. Sometimes Amazon is certainly not the cheapest, but with Prime the convience certainly has us looking there first.

I need to pay attention and hold them accountable myself. Often one or more of a multiple item order will not show for a week.

Good point. Several hundred dollars can be saved on expensive computers or electronics by going to B&H Photo Video Digital Cameras, Photography, Camcorders, who only charges sales tax if you live in New Jersey. Unlike many east coast sources, B&H has good BBB reviews and in my experience has been easy to deal with on the phone.

I absolutely love Kindle Unlimited. I read about 10 books a month, and there is no way I could afford the habit if not for that.

I recently did the math and signed up for Prime as well, and am now trying to figure out the relationship between Prime and Unlimited. It looks like Prime gives you some Kindle Unlimited access, but so far I haven't figured out what all you get if you only have Prime.

The book selection for Prime Only members is a small subset, maybe a few dozen, of the overall selection. And I believe it changes every month.

Need to check the deliver by date when ordering.Even some items from prime are delayed because of vender.

I was about to purchase something on e bay the other day.. when I got to check out, tax were added. I backed out and went with another seller of the same product , but no taxes added.. Saved me about $7.00

Except that legally you still owe that money to the state.
