I'm all for weights but I suppose mine is sorta a special deal, being a former pattern maker, years ago I built a pattern for rear wheel weights for an old 10 horse Allis garden tractor and had them cast at a local foundry, 275 pounds a side. the Allis is long since dead and gone I did however keep the weights and they were just laying in the shed collecting dust for years. When I got my Bx2350 with the 26x12 tires I found much to my surprise that those old weights fit the rims perfectly.
I built a jig using a steel hook and a block&tackle hanging from an ole oak tree to install and remove the beasts so it's really quite easy.
I suppose that I should paint them again but it's winter here now so it will just have to wait till spring, and oh yeah I also loaded the tires and put chains all around since the pic was taken. BTW the front chains also came from the rear wheels on the Allis, just had to cut them down a bit.
So now with 0W40 oil, two block heaters and a battery blanket I think that I'm about set to take on just about anything this winter will throw at me.
