Ha! Fat chance. Woke up this morning at the cottage and it was -4 F. I came up hoping for temps above freezing, hoping to work on the dock cribs while the lake is down, but...:hissyfit:

woke up this morning with couple inches of snow on the ground. They just canceled my son's lacrosse game today. Its been a very unusual winter this year.

As far as I'm concerned, today was the official day it warmed up here.....I took off the snowblower and have no intention of putting it back on before next fall.

Put the ballast barrel on and spent the afternoon cutting firewood in the bush, T-shirt, sweater and a light vest (and the vest was only due to the wind driving across the field to get to the bush) Most days when I leave the house now I don't even bother with taking a coat.

got to 88 here today beautiful day, Planted a few cucumber plants in the garden, tomatoes are growing nice, spuds are coming up, and squash is growing. And I am waiting for my new kubota to get here

i took the blower off, put on the blade, a couple weeks ago so i could
scrape some light snows off the driveway so the sun could melt it off.
i have done that 4 or 5 times since, and even though the sun melts off
the driveway, it has been cold! and we still have a ton of snow on the ground,
some of the ground is open where wind blew the snow away a couple weeks ago.
rain/snow/mix coming the next 3 days. sort of sick of 14 degree mornings this
far out.

I had to get my tractor to the other side of my house. Had to use the bucket to dig my way there.

Friday we had 2.5" of snow turned into black ice with an inch on top and kept snowing to get the final point. The snow is all but gone now but still not good as we have high winds and sleet in last few min...

Looks like 70s and 80sF until The 1st of April and then on the first of April it's supposed to be 86F. Then down into the 70sF again. I'm okay with the temp dropping some as long as it doesn't snow and freeze.

I hope I didn't jinx myself there. lol
