Well, I guess it's pretty obvious what I like to do in my spare time (what's that??). I like to chase a little white ball around a nicely mowed field with a crooked stick! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
However, recognizing that we here in Wisconsin do occassionally have to deal with the solid form of rain during a good portion of the year, I do have other interests also. I read golf magazines, I watch the Golf Channel on the T&V, I play golf games on the 'puter, and I go to various golf shows around the midwest.
Oh yeah, I like doing stuff (even non-golf stuff! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif) with the wife too! And of course, planning for the future tractor /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif!

This summer,Ihave been remodeling my living room. A complete job, gutting it down to the floor, rafters, and studs. I'm a teacher, and in a little more than a week, we start football practice. Most of the time, my life's a season, football to deer season, basketball coaching, and then lawn mowing season! Like most of us, the best time seems to be anything I can use the tractor for.

Most of the time, my life's a season, football to deer season, basketball coaching, and then lawn mowing season! Like most of us, the best time seems to be anything I can use the tractor for.

I can certainly empathize .... my life is so filled with work that I am getting tired, tired, tired. Can't hardly work up enthusiasm for going for a ride on the 2 wheeled orange beast ... much less the 4 wheeled orange beast.
Tired, tired, tired.
Took 3 days off last week as I was starting to feel the onset of major burnout ... wasn't enough. But I did get some seat time and went through almost a dozen shear bolts giving the brushhog a workout! /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
Would like to find time to finish assembling the r/c helicopter, fence the back pasture, add a few more lights to the barn, finish setting up the workshop, get started on rebuilding the manure spreader, clean and polish the bike, clean and polish the 'bota .... and on and on. /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif
Hobbies? Right now - resting!

In all honesty, I do do other things. I'm active in our church as the vice-President (soon to be President /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif) of our church council, my wife and I run an art gallery that I do all the custom framing for, I serve on the Habitat for Humanity board, we're active in our community's concert association, and I probably spend way too much time on TBN!
But I am REALLY looking forward to that day when I can add tractoring to my list! /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

I guess my interests have evolved during the last 4 years, after my divorce. I have since remarried and we are now empty nesters and just like spending time together. Traveling, puttering around our lake/country home in the woods, grandkids, boating, movies, etc. Before it was camping, antiquing, auctions (I am a licensed auctioneer), and raising kids (scout leader, soccer coach, baseball, football, etc.) Big bonus with the new wife. She likes to fish!/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif I still get to work in a game of golf now and then and a good farm or tractor auction.
