I don't recall ever claiming that my machine is the best, but I can understand how you could get that feeling from looking at the pictures of what it can do.

I stand corrected. You may have never said your machine is best. But you always claim it's better than whatever the machine is that's being discussed. Just as you now claim your puller is better than any other type being discussed. I expect that from you. As you should always expect me to dispute your unfounded claims.

I considered that style, but the jaws would be out of sight from the seat.

This type appeared to be the heaviest duty type with the largest jaws and close to the machine but I had to consider reaching under a fence to dispatch our infestation of hedge and it works better than I expected.

If pulling trees and brush "only" this would have been my choice. I've been weighting out pros and cons on a rock bucket and found out that's also a hard decision. I'm lucky to be able to borrow one from my cousin it has the smooth cutting edge and filters out the dirt well enough. However it is heavy approximately 800 lbs I was told. Solid back, 3/8" thick slats and 1"x6" cutting edge.
