Where are these Tractors built?

Hi, I heard from a friend of mine the John Deere is made in Japan now and I'm wondering where these other Tractors I'm going to list are made at, Kubota, New Holland, Yanmar, Cub Cadet, Kioti.

JD's and NH's are made in Japan and assembled in Georgia.
Kubota's are made in Japan and in most cases assembled at the dealer. Yanmar is Japan. Cub Cadet, don't know for sure.
Kioti is either Japan or S Korea. JD's over approx 100 hp are still totally US built. Hope this helps.

My 2955 John Deere was built in France about 10 years ago.
they were built all over the world.

All your mfrs. listed are made in Japan, except Kioti - Korea...

But, I understand Cub Cadet (Mitsubishi)... some new models may be Korean as well???

Kioti is built by Daedong of South Korea, and it is my understanding that Kioti is currently making the 40 and 45 HP tractors for Cub Cadet.
As far as the rest of the Cub line I dont know.

Change the subject for a min. The French own 35% of Nissian Car Company. My Boss said that Cub Cadet has Kubota engines in them.

For CUTs only:
Kubota - BX in Georgia, B & L Series in Japan
NH - 18-24hp in Japan, rest in Georgia
JD - 18-24hp in Japan, rest in Georgia

OEM attachments are built in the all over the world. Loaders tend to be from the US, MMM from the US & Japan, & tillers from Italy.

There must be something about Georgia & tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Regarding the use of Kubota diesels in Cubs, there have been some smaller models that use the Kub diesels, but for the most part Cub has been selling mitsubishis in the US for several years.

In terms of the larger JD models, I have read that some of the 5xxx series are made in the former Soviet Union, but i really could be wrong there. I always thought the old 2010 was outsourced by Zetor, but again I could be wrong.

Bottom line, not much made on our shores - it is a global market.

Cub Cadet is owned by MTD. The older Cub's, like my 7360SS were built, by Mitsubishi with Mitsubishi engines.

My understanding is that the newer Cub's (7252, 7254, 7264, and 7304) are built by Kioti. The diesel models use Diahatsu motors and Kawasaki for the gas models.

I admit to being biased, but the Mitsubishi-built tractors were built like a rock. The newer models are built to be more competitive with the BX and seem less solid and incorporate much more plastic.
