Eastern folks have better access to high speed internet points.

Bird,
According to my search Corinth TX has two zip codes 76208 and 76210. Sometime when doing a map search for a business I have to use the Rural Route zip code instead of the Post Office zip code. Wich ever zip you tried before try the other one.

Gatorboy, thanks for the link it is great to see where others are located.

If you ever want to get a closer view from satellite try using MSN Virtual Earth.

I switched over to satellite. Then was able to zoom and cursor to a overhead picture of my place. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Me too; I did notice on the web site that it is not (yet) set up to take all zip codes.

That's pretty cool...but I sure am lost in the crowd!

The postal service sells their zip code list along with associated data (latitude/longitude, phone area code, etc) to various brokers who in turn offer the data to the public in various formats. There are plenty of brokers who have this data for sale on the internet. I did some software for a company that used the postal database for a call center. The subscription they had from a broker was updated quarterly. It looks like the map people have outdated zip code data.

Roy,

You can zoom in to your area, and pretty soon you're your own person again! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yep, I'm in 76210 which it called an invalid zip code, but it took 76208 and calls it Denton instead of Corinth. Actually Corinth is a separate city just south of Denton, but Corinth has no post office. Our mail is delivered by a carrier from the Denton post office. And that's not and unusual situation. I know of at least 4 separate cities that are considered to be Dallas by the post office.
