I finally got my new wheels and R4 tires together, painted, mounted and installed on my tractor. By the time I bought the sandpaper, paint, and paid to have the rear tires mounted (I just couldn't get them mounted by myself), I ended up spending $1326 for the complete set. This is with Titan R4 tires and Titan wheels. The tractor came from JD with Titan wheels but had Firestone R1's. It took me several afternoons of work but it wasn't too bad.
The total cost ended up being a bit more than what I hoped it would be, but it still was right at $2000 less than just ordering the set from JD or even my local Titan tire dealers that I found via Titan's website. It is still quite a bit of money for a second set of wheels and tires, but it's in the range that I considered realistic. If it was going to cost me well over $3000, I just wasn't going to do it. Anyway, I wanted to thank the people here on TBN for recommending Hey Machinery for the wheels. As I mentioned earlier, they are definitely good people to work with and I'd recommend them for anyone else needing wheels for their tractor.
