How are the edge tamers on concrete when removing snow? Do they mark/scratch it up?

Interesting discussion, specially the edge tamers on the bucket. I plowed last year with the bucket in float position, my first tractor plowing experience. I can see how the edge tamers would have helped.

I just picked up my ssqa plow project, an older manual adjustment kwik-plow mounted to a ssqa bracket, custom welded by a friend. It’s a bit heavy for my Kioti CK2510, I’m worried about digging up the dirt or damaging the asphalt. The Fisher plow shoes are 1-1/4” diameter rods on the round bases, the Kwik-plow brackets are 1” diameter. I found Western plow shoes at Tractor Supply with the 1” diameter rods on cast round bases, that fit nicely. I’ll get a chance to try them out tomorrow after this latest snow storm is done.

You could slot a length a pipe to fit over the entire edge of your bucket. The curve of the pipe will keep it from digging into the gravel. I did this on my 8' Fisher plow that's on my tractor and it works great. I don't have any pics of it to post here at the moment but can upload them in a couple days.

Found this one here though....you do it kinda like this....
