Not trying to justify the high price but spending 35 years in customer service for large power plant OEM I understand a few things. Let’s say there are two customers. One buys all his stuff from me and comes in every so often to talk and asks a few questions. The other bought his tractor but I haven’t seeen or heard from them in years. First customer has a couple different issues during the warranty might be qustionable on coverage but I look and see that they’ve been a loyal customer and also convey that to the OEM. The problems get fixed the transportation fees get waived and everyone’s happy. Second customer comes in says my tractors broken please fix it. Well sir if you look at the warranty it excludes anything that isn’t internal and blah blah.
