NH TC45D
I'm in the market for a backhoe. I recently purchased a New Holland TC 45 D, and was quoted $7,000 for the NH758C that the dealer told me was a Bradco made unit. After talking w/ folks in the NH forums, they agreed it is Rhino made.

Question of the day: Is the NH hoe the way to go? Or, is the best route Bradco, Rhino or Woods?

The max budget is $7,000.

Thanks

When I was comparing them a few years back I found the Bush Hog brand to spec out slightly better than the rest. It was also the best price. At the time Woods wanted to sell a pto pump with their kit, the rest ran off of the tractor hydraulics. I believe that Woods has redesigned their hoe since then so you may need to re-investigate the specs/prices.

I bought the Bush Hog 750 a little over two years ago with a 12" and 18" bucket, subframe and rear remote for my tractor for right at $6500. Both NH and Woods were over 7,000 for the same setup.

I have some pictures posted in my gallery if you want to take a look.

Thanks Rodger. Your setup looks sweet. I'm going to have to look for a dealer in my area to get prices on the same setup...

I would seriously consider sticking with the NH brand for warranty issues. I ran a 758 on my 2120 for about 15 years with no problems.

I agree 100%. Backhoes are all pretty similar. A few pounds here or there, a few more or less dollars here or there, but when problems arise, and they will, you don't want to get into a "it's their fault" finger pointing situation.

I've been there done that, and it ain't fun. Stick with the designed unit, and you will have less headaches.
