Which Kubota to buy?

Since your primary use is mowing no tractor can beat the BX. It is a great mowing machine with the 60 inch MMM. It is a fully suspended design and is far superior to the units on Kubotas (and most others) larger tractors which are generally ground contact type. The BX is also so far superior to any tractor styled riding mower you may currently own as to make any comparison useless. Get a BX with loader and 60inch MMM, the rest can be added later. If you intend heavier work including brush hogging and lot's of boxblade work I would recommend the 7500/2410 size. The BX is a great little tractor that is also a great mower. J

You may want to consider keeping that 12 HP craftsman to use as your finish mower, and get a tractor with a rear mower/brush hog for outlying and rough mowing. What you would save by not buying a mid mount mower could help put you into a little bit larger tractor for the heavy work and something better suited for working along the creek. If it will be a single machine for everything, then a BX series is the way to go.

No single machine will be perfect for everything you want to do. How about buying one of each?
