They are all mid mount 2 stage snow blowers.

You could purchase the P680 snow blower and mount the entire snow blower
on your loader with a SSQA plate using a ROTAX 23 horsepower go cart engine
to power it and have enough torque to clear snow.

Leonz , i've been watching alot of vids on diverter valves, 3rd remote for FEL but l know the flow is not there for this. So lm looking at just what you mentioned. I have the quick attach and know l can fab up sometime self contained...

The Rotax 2 cycle 23 horse engine is lighter and you will have plenty of torque to do the job using the Pronovost P680.

You will need to fabricate a mounting plate for the snow blower that will let you mount the Rotax engine or a surplus air cooled snowmobile engine off an old sled with its
pulleys and belt drive to the 6 spline stub shaft of the gear box. You will need a fuel tank for mixed gas and the muffler off the sled to run the engine and a hand throttle with a long enough sheathed cable to mount on the loader.

Im very interested in a self contained setup. I know Bigg Pigg had one in 2 sizes. I think 50 and 64 inch. If l wanted there's a 72 and 84 inch l could mount on my F250 and stay warm. lol

I think that 64" was listed on sale at $6500. Have to call to find out for sure...

Honestly thinking of building one from older parts with a new motor as what l see looks like chinese beer can aluminum...

Don't waste your money; you need the speed and torque a 23 horsepower
rotax engine will provide you with the new pronovost snowblower to spin
the impeller at 700+ rpm. The simplicity of a go cart or snow mobile belt
drive system is what you want and need.

I would think a snowmobile engine is going to have an overheating problem when used on slow moving equipment like a snowblower due to not enough air flow to cool it down.

The snow vac 2 stage design is a poorly designed snow blower that could be made much better in my opinion with few simple design changes
using the 33 horsepower ROTAX 2 cycle air cooled engines or the largest Wisconsin V twin engines.

Nope, they work well in the cold and always have with the fan on the blower housing.
The forced air cooling system for snowmobiles has been a proven method of engine cooling
for many years just like the 4 cycle gas engine on a lawn mower or weed wacker.

I don't have a problem using a 2 over 4 cycle. Ran 2 strokes since the 70s and probably less weight depending on cc size. 4 strokes have good low end torque. Belt or chain, either is fine with me. I just think the older ones are built much better than todays. Gotta pay for heavy quality. I saw the Snovac. If l remember they were kinda high $. I enjoy building so thinking if l can find a good shape older blower unit and mod it with a new ( 2 or 4 stroke) engine, that'll be my route. I just want the unit to be able move some snow as mentioned with good rpm...
If there were more front blower options l might go that route and buy. Like that 64" Bigg Pigg. I believe $6500 was their sale price if their still building them. I know l can build a quality, reliable unit for less...

I did message Wolf Kubota and asked if they sold the 64" Snow Hogg with the 24hp Honda seen in their video over the 19hp listed on their web page. We'll see what's offered...
