Who makes engine and trans for Kioti?

I kinda like the Yellow white combo on my Kioti. maybe Kioti should change to help with so many hurt feelings. for the first 5 years i thought i owned a genuen Cub Cadet untill they changed to the Yanmar brand.

Same reason the Dukes of Hazard painted the general that color.

I'd like to see ANY of these tractors jump a creek.. Fraid Cooter wouldnt be able to fix it.

I saw a Kioti once, seemed like a decent tractor, and to be honest, I thought it was a new Kubota at first. (due to the color) ..

I would never confuse a Kioti for a Kubota The Kioti is much more substantially built

I have been on TBN for quite some time,and I read all of the postings for all of the brands and try to help no mater what the color is W/O brand bashing.
This thread started off by asking a simple question Who makes engine and trans for Kioti and has tuned in to a brand bashing again.
The Kioti forum seems to be like a magnet and attracts Kubota owners and or dealers who like to come here drop a TURD and leave.
You came on the Kioti forum with a burr under your saddle right from the start and you only have been a member for less than a month so whats your problem?

You're right.. the O.P. was asking a simple question.. and I am guilty as charged of high-jacking the O.P. question. Really didn't see what I initially said a "brand bashing"... Inflamatory, but not really bashing. When some peoples decisions are put into question (like buying generic vs. name brand) it tends to strike nerves.... I did not realize that the pack is wearing their feelings on their sleeves and not emotionally stable enough for a spirited discussion. Apparently this has happened in here before and the pack seems to be a little emotional about it.. Here's a tissue. I will go about my learning of ALL makes of tractors and will not post on this again.

Same for me. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: I have never looked at nor posted on the Kubota site, why would I? Seems some people are bored or just want to create a controversy.

To be honest, I feel that Kioti owes about 50% of their sales to this website. If it were not for this website, I sincerely would have thought that Kioti was just another roadside, cobbled together, tractor of the month being sold out of yard barns. It's been about 8 or 10 years ago, but 3 or 4 roadside Kioti dealers popped up in my area and I don't think any lasted more than a year or two. Without TBN, I would have just assumed that Kioti was another bankrupt company of the past. Even looking when I travel all around my part of the country, I've yet to see a single Kioti.

So, does Kioti pay TBN 50% of their profits for basically 100% of their free advertising? If not, Mohammed ought to get some deal worked out with them!

It's been about 8 or 10 years ago, but 3 or 4 roadside Kioti dealers popped up in my area and I don't think any lasted more than a year or two.

Here in mid north Indiana they have a strong dealership representation for quite a while and you see quite a few.:thumbsup: I have seen them at our county fair for the last 10 years as well as surrounding fairs and at most major Farm Shows in the midwest long before I knew this site was around. They are competing with companies that have had 35 to 173 year head start. They have a good product at a great price. Now as far as dealers goes I have seen some local Deere dealers consolidate, some New Holland Dealers consolidate and and some Agco dealers go out. Being in the tractor selling business isn't easy for old established dealers or new dealers these days.

These pics are from the Hoosier State and these Kiotis have been seen preparing the out door practice field for the Indianapolis Colts. They also had custom turf tires from McCord Tire in Monticello Indiana put on a DK90. You don't see many 90hp tracotrs in my area with turf tires. Dargo,, dont forget Kioti tractors are sold in other colors too. Cub Cadet was selling like hot cakes in my area when i bought mine and now they are selling their tractors rebadged as Bobcats. so just because the orange version isnt seen by you doesnt meen their sales valume isnt doing well.

Hey, be nice now!! I said nothing derogatory about Kioti. I simply stated a fact, and that fact is that there really are no Kioti tractors in my area. I'm well aware of the Kioti/CC relationship (personally, I think that hurts Kioti - I have a much higher opinion of Kioti than CC) and the Kioti/Bobcat relationship. However, these other relationships most certainly are new and were not the case ten years ago.
