Who rides motorcycles?

I built this out of perhaps seven different Honda vehicles.



I'm working on this.



I changed this bike a bunch



This bike I went with my father to Renton Honda to purchase. I own it now.

I started out with a Honda, I think it was a 360 Trail but that was a long time ago. I graduated to a Kamikazi KZ 650. Man that thing was smooth. I as lucky since my BIL was a motorcycle mechanic & kept the four carbs tuned. I no longer ride a street bike for health reasons. I can't stand compound fractures! I got hit head-on by a drunk driver. The fun ended on impact.

I now ride a Rokon.

that depends on what kind of motorcycle you replace it with.

I can't stand compound fractures! You missed this part of the statement. I've gotten wimpy in my old age. I'm not as tough as I once was. Or maybe it's was once.:confused2:

I took part in the Northeast 24 hour challenge last weekend and had an absolute blast. This is my second year doing it and I managed a 3rd place finish in my class. I ran out of fuel on my last lap because I didn't have time to pit, so I pushed the bike across the finish line about a quarter of a mile (after riding for 24 hours). If I hadn't run out I would have made 2nd but still happy I finished.





The boys had a blast as well, they would bring me water and Gatorade when I pulled in to refuel, it was a great weekend. Even my wife said she really enjoyed it.

I always used to think of motorcycles as a very independent and solo sport, but the events are very family orientated.

Those 990s, or 950s. I couldn't tell, are great bikes. I have a 690, and I still hate mud! Ha!

They are both 990's. Mine is a standard '13 and my buddies is an "S" '07.

That sounds like a scene right out of "Little Fauss and Big Haulsy"! Another one of those things that hooked me on motorcycling!

Not in as good of shape as I should be that's for sure!

I do think that competitive riding is a lot more family oriented now, however there is still some eye candy around!
