Why I Bought a PowerTrac 425

Nice job!!

Every day the PT-425 becomes more and more of a necessity!! Every job, that last year was just lift it, push it, pull it, dig it, cut it, move it, climb it, load it, grind it, dry it, warm it, haul it, scrape it, or spread it, has now become "PT Time!!"!! About the only thing that is almost impossible to do with a PT-425 is park it!!

You have established a high standard for all of us regarding pics and documentation! Great job, and thanks! Tom

Little To Far??? Heck we travel 50 miles for a loaf of bread and think nothing of it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
But then most consider us living in the sticks. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
When one considers the cost of attachments and how often we use them sharing is a great idea. At least for those trusted souls. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Paul:
A truly remarkable year. Dare I suggest that it actually has a bit more to do with you than the capability of the PT 425. My PT could do what yours has, but I'd run out of steam long before it had the chance. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

A PT attachment co-op comes to mind. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

This would be a great idea...I know I would probably even pay/rent for a day or two sometimes...like right now I could really use the mini hoe and stump grinder but don't see any long term usage for one. Doubt there's anybody close to me to even consider...so, onto the wish list for next year!

So someone buys a super-duper attachement for $1000.00, uses it for a few weeks, then sells it for $900.00. That person does the same and sells it for $800.00 and so on. Pretty soon, all we'll be doing is paying for shipping of this super-duper attachment around the country. We could then take pictures of it at each job site and send a little folder around with it so everyone could contribute. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Problem is, I can't let go of anything... (I still have all my old toys from when I was a kid). Once an attachment would get into my hands, it would never leave. I get just too darn sentimental about silly stuff. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

But my "To Do" list far exceeds my "Finished" list. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
