Whether before the deal or after the deal, it's the little things that really count! Those "little things" can be money (yeah!), attitude, real interest in my needs, etc. When I purchased the 5030, I found a local dealer that would meet the price of the best I had found asking around. But it was the extras that made me feel good about giving them my business and some of those extras came after the sale! After them agreeing to meet the price quotes I had, I asked (very politely) if they could come down on price. He said no on the tractor, loader, implements, HOWEVER they added a few hundred $$ extras for free (rear work lights, rear wiper on cab, gauge wheels for rake, tooth bar for loader, 3 chain hooks on FEL bucket). The salesman and manager were very nice, very patient, and actually steered me away from spending more on a larger tractor that they realized was too large for my specific needs. The tractor was delivered within 5 hours of purchase. When the extras arrived, they came out, picked it up to add those, and returned it all fixed up as ordered - no extra charge for delivery. When they brought it to me the second time , they brought me a front guard for my rotary cutter (no charge for this!). I didn't even ask for this. I just casually mentioned during our discussions at the time of purchase that I might buy one someday! On top of all that, pickup and delivery for future service work will be at no extra charge (35 miles each way). As you can see - lots of "little things" that add up to a very satisfied customer!! That might have something to do with the fact I have since sent them another customer!
