Washing removes the dirt that HOLDS moisture against metal. Washing is the solution to rust, not the cause.

Bought tractor, built barn for it and other motorized tools, lawnmowers, UTV, ATV, BOAT. Cars stay in yard.

Some parts of the country have acidity in their rain or volcanic dust - and in those types of areas waxing is really smart. This next week I'll wash my tractor for the 1st time in its two year history. Then I've acquired a special "wax like" item that is better than way (its a polymer) and is designed to be used once a year for a continuing shine and protection.
