A ton and a half on a 1/4 ton truck?

I've seen almost anything done to a Jeep,
Ideal Jeep for camping over in ..........
but not a dump bed on a CJ. The early FJ150 appeared to be on a narrow tread CJ chassis, and had a dump conversion.

would not really put a full (yard) of wet crusher run etc. in it ...so I understand the weight issue...

Actually the axle is the only real concern...some framing and additional (including overloads) leafs would work...it would not be intended for long hauls etc...

Some CJ Jeeps have heavier, boxed frames than others. I don't know when they changed.
