Will mmm fit 3130 with r4 tires?

I know the feeling, looked at bx22/7800 finally decided on L3130. Though there was a bigger jump in tractor and weight (almost double) then there was in price at that level. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Kytractor - What 'bout setting up the tractor for your loader/backhoe work and buying a riding tractor for the mowing. Aren't the MMM's price in the neighborhood of a decent priced lawn tractor?? I bet you'd even get a better cut with the lawn tractor sized deck. I know your time(72" vs 48"+/- deck) is worth something too. Just a thought and I only spent .02 on it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Take it for what it's worth. Chuck

These tractors will do all you need to do. I think the Ag tires with the belly mower would be counterproductive. I would suggest the R4's with a 3 pt. finish mower for the yard and then you have a better tire for your other work. The shipping wt of the L3830HST shows to be 35 lbs. more than the L3130HST, but it will take larger tires and should weigh more. Hope this helps.

If you are mowing a yard type of turf, the finish mower would be the best and give the best results. If it is rough or has brush to clean, the field mower would be the one to use. The box blade will do the best job of moving gravel from high spots to low spots in your drive. But, if you need to pull gravel from the bar ditches back to the top of the drive, an angle blade will work best.
