Yep the 1/8 inch pipe nipple about 5 inches long put it over one end of the tie and untwist it, and it would take about 2 seconds per clip. Easy Peazy.

Another idea. Go through and get them tighter on the wire. Then cut them. That way both sides are attached to the wire. After that is done then remove the wire with them attached. If the one end is bent then you can force them down the line and make a spot to grab them all as you roll up the wire.

Exactly...clearly T post clips are foreign to some TBNers.

My preferred tool is a small diameter metal pipe...maybe 8 inches long.....it slips over the long protruding clip end and is used to lever the thing loose...also used to apply the clips...

A stout screwdriver shaft can also be used to undo the clips.

You gotta pick them up...time is almost nil, payback large.

You don't even need pliers, a short piece of pipe like a hydraulic jack handle and its off. The time spent doing a write up and reading the replys could have been done, then just wrap wire.

You cannot undo these with a screwdriver. I think these are homemade from the high tensile wire. They are drastically thicker than others I've dealt with. Even cutting them with smaller bolt cutters is tough.

Stick screwdriver shaft in open loop and unwind...kinda pry with it...
I've installed several thousand and removed almost as many...the clip is a standard manufactured clip for barb wire attachment to T post..also works for smooth wire.
small pipe inserted onto the end works best....I use a grease gun extension pipe

A hollow shaft nut-driver works well for taking them off.

They actually sell a small pipe tool to use for twisting the clips on, but as said, it is just a small piece of tubing that is not nearly as durable as an 1/8" pipe.

That is a good idea about using the grease gun tubing. IF ONLY I could find that tubing I removed from the grease gun when installing my flexible hose.
