Post Covid, ”science/scientific research” has been largely ruined.
I used to believe doctors, scientists & experts.

Now I find myself more often believe in “follow the money”. A sad and cynical time I find myself and millions of others in.

Can you blame them?

Ventilators that kill people? Masks proven ineffective? Overpriced mostly ineffective vaccinations with built in kick backs for those who took them Given to children with literally 0% chance of dying?

Those were all pushed by scientists.

My mother received 100’s of thousands in cancer treatments and lived less than a year. Her quality of life in that year was terrible. Chemo & radiation. All peer reviewed, I’m sure.

Money & fame is all it seems people seek now.

I saw another advertisement for the "updated" vax with a bunch of liberal celebs touting it. People aren't getting ill or dropping dead. But excess deaths are on the rise according to life insurance companies, and infant mortality has risen for the first time in two decades. So, we have that.

I've seen those conspiracy theories as well. Most have been thoroughly debunked.

Frankly, I'll believe someone who has devoted their life to working in a field long before I'll believe 99% of the conspiracy theory crap that shows up on the internet - I particularly don't trust articles that don't cite their sources or those that cite sources but cherry pick quotes out-of context or misleadingly edit quotes to create an impression other than what the source indicates. Another big one are the articles which try to dodge and outright lie by posing it as a question ("could it be that...")
I initially believed that the Covid vaccination stopped Covid, but I got it a couple of months after being vaccinated and saw that most of the people that were vaccinated got Covid. It doesn't take a scientist to figure out that the gov't was pumping out misinformation, so obviously I won't fall for their lies again. I'm sure Pfizer and Moderna appreciates the governments help. I guess that's not a conspiracy since those are the facts that I have witnessed.

Pfizer & Moderna stock values have dropped like 60-75% since the height of the plandemic. IMO, If they didn’t have immunity from being sued for vaccine related injuries, they’d both be bankrupt.

Which conspiracy theories have you seen debunked?

When you have to hire an NFL superstar to peddle your product, you know it needs help.
I’m seeing like 2% vax rates now?
Wonder if the big guy will be pushing it this winter like in the past.

I fell for getting the jab the first three times, but I’m not gonna get anymore

I can half way understand getting it for the elderly, sickly, etc.
That is probably it’s highest & best use.

Children?
Healthy adults?

I had to get vaccinated to see my daughter play college field hockey. Stadiums required a vaccine passport to enter. I had to - guilt/pressure. I got the JJ 1 timer because it wasn’t MNRA. Might have something else in it to kill me prematurely later, but I did what I had to do. 🤷‍♂️

Makes you wonder what will happen if a REAL pandemic hits and now 90% of the population is skeptical of another vax. We are in a tough spot now.

This is the price we have to pay when one side is presented as truth (vaxers) and the other side is called “conspiracy theorists”.

It's being rolled out again and public already at odds quarreling...

See it everyday of the last 4 in my medical setting.

It's difficult for rational people to accept knowing a lot of what transpired happened on the fly and then seeing those making the rules skirting them.

Unions were for the most part complicit with few standing up for their members not in lockstep.

We lost key medical personnel who said enough is enough and don't kid yourself that moves out of California were not influenced by California statewide and local policy.

Tesla pushed back and paid a price and Musk said it was impetus for expanding out of California and creating auto worker jobs outside of California.

Just saw on CBS morning news, the car show in Japan(?) talking about the future of EV's, and they say by 2028, the batteries will be solid state, charging times of 10 minutes, and a 700 mile range. I'll be 67, so I doubt I'll be towing anything. (a big turnoff of today's EV's) Not sure if I will be in the market of a new car, but I'd have an open mind with those details...

That would change my thinking for sure on the practicality, but the other issues still exist.
