It was nice wasn't it. I was in PA this morning and the sun was shining when I woke up. Went out to start the truck and it did not like the cold. We didn't get much more then a half inch down near Corry, PA. Came back home before noon and started clearing the driveways at the apartments and after two hours I was well froze. Stay warm and enjoy the game.

As much as I like to plow snow. Temperatures below 10 degrees get my attention very quickly. Glad you are getting the snow and not us. Pictures look great. :D

Frank, we haven't had anything like you've had, but we actually had some snow the second of February. And we've had temperatures get into the teens at least once. A couple of days ago it was 23 early in the morning, 31 this morning, but supposed to get up around 60 today and 69 tomorrow.:D Sure doesn't amount to much compared to your weather, but it's the most winter we've had for 2 or 3 years.

Mornin Frank,
Some pretty nice pics you posted ! Winter did finally arrive ! We got about about 6" in Vt. Nothing like your getting, but honestly I wouldnt want to plow snow out there right now, there is a weather alert of wind chills down to -30F  Wait for your snow to stop and maybe warm up a bit before tackling that job. BTW keep your feet warm ! :)

We only got down to 5 on Saturday in Northern Indiana with wind gusts to 30MPH. I went ice fishing at 8:30am. Around 10:00 some young kid dressed like the Michelin Man shows up dragging an ice shanty. He says, "Dude, don't you have a shanty?" kind of rubbing it in. Obviously, no. I'm sitting on a bucket enjoying my good fortune of having the 100+ acre lake all to myself and "Dude" sets his shanty 20' from me. He says "Dude, don't you get cold?" I tell him, no, I dress in layers and eat lots of high calorie food while I'm out there. If I start getting cold, I'll go get my coat from the van. "Dude, you're not wearing a coat?" He's standing there looking at me and I'm not wearing a coat and he aks that.

About 10 minutes later, "Dude" in his shanty goes sailing by me and I hear "Whoa, dude it's WINDYYYYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy........" :D:D:D:D As he comes back towing his shanty, I tell him I may go to my van and get my coat. Then he digs his ice auger into the ice and ties about 10 feet of rope to it, then to his shanty and climbs back in. Well, the wind starts shifting back and forth from west to north over and over. "Dude" is getting batted around like a tether ball and I'm laughing so hard I spill my hot beverage. I decided to call it quits at 11:30. Didn't catch anything, but still enjoyed the frigid weather.:)

I should have used fishing line to tie his zipper door closed, cut the rope to his auger and then ran for my van! :)

well the snow did stop sunday night about 7 PM BUT THE WIND UP PICKED MORE, finally got brave enough this morning about 9 to go out, headed right for the garage started the tractor and back in i went for another cup, gave it about 12 min and back out to cycle all the hydraulics then back in for anothe cup finally after about 25 min. of warm up i headed out! actually had about 3 ft but it was a granular snow and the wind drifted it and packed it, was a bear to move, had to keep picking it up and dumping it on the lawn. ONLY prolem was the lawn was loaded, so i had to clear spots to dump. tokk me about 3 hrs to clean the drive and the walkway from the garage to the house, then went down to the corner about 500 ft ( my mailbox is there) and spent 15 min trying to clean up that mess but the wind was really blowing the snow and did not feel real comfortable as the visiity was tought at times so tomorrow i will clean up the drive better, and at the ends of the drive and back down to the corner. Temp was about 3 deg with wind chill of --25 deg was well protected but still had to take numerous breaks to warm up the toes and fingers. 2 pairs of thermal socks, with felt lined boots, thermal undies, parka, full face skie mask with wool cap on top. actually was not that bad. BUT WOULD HAVE LOVED HEATED CAB WITH HEAVIER TRACTOR!!! MY B2440 HAd had the power but not the wieght i would have liked. but had no problem except it just took long. sorry for the long post!!!!!:D
