Thanks: I'd seen the electric Ox URL before, but haven't seen one in person. The fact that they claim pretty good performance suggests to me that the electric PT would also work, and have a lot more capability.

Here are some pictures of the little things I did to the PT this winter. The first was installing some Walmart headlamps. Turns out the ones I got were 55 Watt not 35. When I went to put them on I thought about the concerns of the stock location being too low. I hadn't bought or built a ROPS yet so I started thinking about mounting them towards the top of the console to get the highest location I could. Then I thought being so closely mounted I wonder how well a single lamp would light up the area in front of the tractor. As it turned out it worked out really well so a cyclops was born... (and it only draws half as much amps this way) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

... and then a beverage holder. Has anyone found a better place to put one of these?!? This is convenient when riding but is in the way when stepping through to sit down. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

If you had the ROPS system, one of the post would work very well. You could mount a staff on the side of the PT, and put your self a beverage holder there. At the top of the staff, curl some metal rod into about 5 circles. Place an insulated cooler with beer in the holder, and you are good to go. You could do one for each side, one being a spare, or reserve. Do you already have the bolt holes on the side?

JJ, Good thought, the two mounting holes for the factory ROPS are already there. Plus during the next summer time cookout I could drive up the PT with tiki torches mounted in the holders. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Bill, Since you have the holes for the ROPS, you could also make your self some brackets to hold one or two ammo cans for small tools and parts that you want to keep handy, but out of the weather. I don't know if you like to build things for your self, but I enjoy building things and saying things to myself like, I can do that , or better. It seem like when I go to a welder for some serious welding, it's over $60.00, I took a welding class many years ago and have never regretted it. I have acquired many welders since then, but I ended up with a Lincoln 175 mig welder that I use for every thing.
