Wisdom on gun purchase please?

(I can't find a digital/pushbutton wall safe for a shotgun)

I wish someone would make one that could be flush mounted and would fit between two wall studs. Then you could hang a full length mirror over it. Anyone feel enterprising?

Well John, since everyopne is beating you up, I guess I will have a go at it.

Sure, 15 rounds in an intruder might not be defensible. Might not be PC. Might not be the best decision based on probable jail time. But "NOT be good". No, wrong. Intruder in my house. Fifteen rounds minimum. Very Good.

Thanks for the site Garry, but it does not have what I am thinking of. A safe that flush mounts in between the studs of my bedroom wall with battery powered electronic entry that one shotgun will fit sideways in. I paid about $100 for my floor mount electronic handgun safe. I would gladly pay significantly more for an "emergency access" shotgun wall safe. I guess there is no demand for such a product.

Now we're talking. The Cannon looks pretty close to what I'm after. I want one that's flush mount so I can hang something over it to conceal it.

At last years Shot Show in Vegas there was a new pistol safe and shotgun safe. It was designed to be wall mounted and the lock was a thumb print recognition system that could be programmed for different thumb prints. Haven't seen it on the market yet but I'll do an internet search to see if I can find it again.

Depends on the state. Some states codify a "duty to retreat", others do not. Check the laws in your state.
