Thanks for all the feed back guys, I took back the pump today and exchanged it for a new one. I hope this solves the problem.
Thanks again /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Deerlope, you don't know me, but I've enjoyed reading your posts. I just want to say that I hope your wife is doing better and you take care of yourself too as you will be no good to her if not. Best of luck, John
WooHooo!!
the new pump solves the problem. I started her up and jammed a block of wood in her teeth.... 3000 lbs on the guage. The other pump wasn't shifting into the second stage afterall. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I adjusted the relief valve on the control down to 2300 lbs and it splits like snot now.
Thanks guys.
Mr Dean, If you are happy with 2300psi OK but you can set that at 2500psi and still be safe if your welds are good and your steel is heavy enough. Glad to hear that you are happy.
