Awesome set up!
Is the carnage from a split going south and pushing against the table end?

i think what happened there was a log on the log lift got pushed by the "pusher" and bent the pipe.

Its happened again since those pics. Its pretty bad now. I really got to rework it. Split pieces are falling to the ground in the bent area which defeats the purpose of the table

Nice job. I am on a similar track but box splitter . Just picked up the beam today. One question What is the stroke on the log lift cylinder. I assume the diameter is 2"

The log lift is a 2.5x6" cyl.

Are you going to do a build thread?

Not yet. And ive splitted some gnarley crotchwood. I have had to take the 4 way off a few times for some large tough rounds but nothing has actually stopped it.

I paid close attention on getting my cylinder parallel to the I beam to try and prevent any uplift on my sled bolts. I got 3 Grade8 1/2" holding it down on each side. So far so good, but i purposely made the sled so that the bolts would act as a fuse if too much force was applied, rather than bend the pusher.

I should, I never remember to take pictures. I will try

Remembering to take the camera is the hardest part of the build:D:thumbsup:
