Yeah. The LED light I bought is way way brighter and energy efficient.

My replacement light was $7 shipped. I put a weatherpack connector on it and can replace it 10x before I've paid for the factory light.

Yep, I'm one of those people that does not want to make extensive modifications and just want something I can put on with no fuss.

@can do I just did a search and I only found dealer online showing this part, but no picture and not information.

I know you said yes it is LED, is it brighter that the light that originally came on my GC1725M?

I think I've looked at those lights, but what I want is a light like the one I have with a built in switch than I can just plug into the connector that's already there. I have not found one.

I just added a switch upstream. It was easy. You can even add your own pushbutton switch at the lightif you really cared. The small amount of effort is worth it. The factory light was inferior in every conceivable way.

I rarely need to use my work light. The only time I'm doing anything with the tractor in the dark is in the winter moving snow and I have flood lights on everything I need to see. I have needed it occasionally when clear go over to clear the snow for my wife's aunt that lives not far away and the current light is passable for the.

It is pricey, but I seriously don't have time for putzing with things. To be honest, I probably wouldn't find the time to even put this on if bought it. Since the one I have works for me as is I probably won't replace it with anything unless I have to.

I'm mostly curious about if the new one provides more light and if it does, how much more.

This a OEM part & it will be a plug & play & is your off/on switch on the lamp? if it is then this is what your looking for ,But it is a complete (kit).;), not just the lamp.

Only time in almost 4 years only time work light has been on is to test is to see if it still works....
Exactly.

I'm interested in having a brighter light, but then I've used it so little so far that I'm not sure there is any point in having more light. On the other hand, due to covid and everyone working from home there was very little need for me to be out at 5am moving snow, I was able to let it wait until the afternoon. I'll have to see how I feel after a winter where I have to be out in the dark more often. I've also thought about changing out the headlights for LEDs, but again, not sure it's worth the effort.

And even more information for anyone looking for it. A comparison of this light with another one.

I got this reply from Doug Vahrenberg.

Here is video we did with the LED Worklights on the 1800M Series versus the Sparex LED Light. The GC1725M is a Halogen light and less bright than either of these options.:

Why are you YELLING........ And why do you insist on being so "correct".... Every one here understands your first post, its justly that most of us don't care about over priced under nourishes work lamp, when something better is available for less........ Quite frankly I could not recognize a AGCO product from generic work light if the two were sitting side by side on a table....
