Work lights

Finally had some time today to wire up my lights. Don't mind the zip ties I ran out of good ones and I'm still not positive how I'm going to mount the loom yet. Doesn't seem to be wanting to post the pictures

I swapped out the halogen work lights front and rear on my B26 with a 33" LED bar. So far I'm quite happy!

I did the Drill, baby DRILL method (hole in the ROPS). :shocked:

Don't feel bad. My dealer did the same thing. But now I replaced my halogen work lights with two 70W LED spots facing forward and an 80W LED flood facing backwards.

As far as tying wires....I use those little square adhesive pads that you put zip ties through. They work well.

They stick real hard for a while. Not sure what the problem is, heat or freezing but I've had those things come off. There's probably many different kinds. Some with adhesive for plastic? I've had them let go in a few days when used on plastic. I don't have a real good understanding of where they work or why not. Indoor use has generally been OK.

I do know enough about steel that little holes in a ROPS is absolutely safe.

Anyone with a cab model (I have a B2650 cab version) mount LED lights, and where on the cab?

I have a cab model, LS not Kubota but LED lighting will fit any tractor. I made my own brackets. Front bracket mounts to existing mirror brackets. Rear bracket mounts to existing brackets that are for factory strobe lights. I installed separate 20A rocker switches for them in the empty spaces in the cab. I also mounted flashing strobe lights front and rear on the same brackets.
My LED's are 22" Wide 120W combination spot / flood lights. First pic is a closer shot of the mirror mounted bracket before the light was installed.
