I'm more intrigued by that "gunrack *** weedeater" holder. In fact, I was wondering if you welded up that whole overhead frame, as well--perhaps to protect from falling objects?

I assume you're talking about my polesaw holder? It's actually just a 4x4 painted black (also holds my rear view mirror). I used U-bolts to secure it to the ROPS & the angle member supporting the sunshade. Here's a pic:

What other tools have you found homes for on that machine? Say, like a chain saw? I guess that's why folks build carryalls, huh?

A machete holding location on the loader:

You just gave me an idea: You know how some folds pour their rear weight boxes full of concrete, with various diameter PVC tubes set in? How about pouring the concrete in around two trailer receiver hitches (with an appropriately-sized loop of 2" receiver-strength square-tube piping down deep in the concrete, for strength)? Then, one could weld up a variety of tool boxes/trays/frames to fit those two receiver hitches.

Dumb? Overbuilt? Under-thought? Love to hear anyone's thoughts, if this isn't too big of a hijack. :D

Hijack away, doesn't bother me!

Nice machine.

Thank you!

I just keep a bag of old tee shirts and slip one over the seat of whatever I'm running that day, it never falls off and is always handy when I need it. As a bonus I can keep the seat relatively clean if I'm working on someone elses machine.

I found a good deal on golf towels. They have the metal grommet (sp) that can be easy to put on a hook. I strap the hook to the ROPS with a zip tie and snap the towel on. That way if I need the towel I don't have to untie it just take it off the hook.

Hey, that's a good idea! Although they are maybe a little small. I do like these big ol' bath towels - Plenty of space for dirt/grease

I like it so good that I actually bought a grommet kit so I can install my own grommets in bigger thicker hand towels. The grommet kit is very cheap and I needed one anyway to put some extra grommets in tarps.

I keep some red "shop rags" in my toolboxes on the carryall.

Once in a while I'll throw some under the seat or in the cup holder. ;)

Gotta love those red shop rags.

I keep a big bathtowel hanging next to where I park the tractor and the mowers it is always at the ready. The big bath towels last for months and months.
We all know, you cannot get within 10 feet of the tractor without getting grease on something and you cannot walk by the tractor without checking something.
