This is just me but when it's all done I would drop off a little something to that dealer. Coupon for dinner for two, some eternally old scotch; whatever is appropriate. Can't beat a hundred dollar bill in a thank you card. Make him a partner in your success.

It sure didn't have to turn out this well.

WOW! After all you went thru, now I don't feel so bad. I bought a BRAND NEW TC45DA from the local NH dealer back in 06. It's been a great tractor, never had to take it back to the dealer except for a paint issue on the loader! Now here's how well I was treated by the dealer. They delivered the tractor to my house when I wasn't home. When I get home I want to use the FEL. So I get on my tractor and start it up, and, the fuel tank is EMPTY!. Have you ever bought a new car and the tank was empty? Probably not. Needless to say I called the dealer & complained a bit. He said, we don't fill them with fuel, that's the customers job! WTF! That one phone call made me realize the dealer owner didn't give a rats ***** about me or my purchase. LOL! I will NEVER buy another tractor from that DB, and I go out of my way not to patronize his business......You are lucky to have a dealer that at least cared about your issue and tried to resolve it!:muttering:

WORKMASTER 60 UPDATE, Hello to all of you that followed this thread it's been 6 going on 7 months now with the new WM 60. I have to say that i do believe i now have the tractor i expected the first go around with the WM 50. I have put over 110 hrs of snow grading, plowing, discing, tilling, haying both square and round bales 1st cutting 2018 and still watch'n weather to cut more hay. I am Happy with it so far NO issues even remotely similar to the WM 50 i got rid of. It did have a small issue with a software update that caused an error code of 3305 to pop up while haying last week and demanding me to stop in middle of field while raking but a quick call and over-nite trip to the dealer fixed this issue without any problems for me. Dealer said it was just a normal thing that these tractors need as the software was not correct from the factory? but not all of them will give this problem, Dosen't matter to me as long as it has been fixed. Cannot say enough about my dealer or the service department they are covered up right now with every piece of hay equipment and tractor imaginable but i called and they said bring it in and we get it as fast as we can. they offered to come get it but that was going to take a few days as i was who knows how far down on the list:laughing:. So i hauled it in last friday morning by 9am and by 10 am the next day i was picking it up. I know they only had to zap the computer and that don't take long but i was impressed because i was not the first guy wanting a tractor fixed:irked: and as i said they are swamped with hay season fixes right now. So in my Current review of this Workmaster 60 i would have to say this it's a good tractor so far, happy with it so far and expect to be happy with it for foreseeable future. Suggestion if you buy one get the 621 loader and don't look back, get whatever bucket, grapple or whatever you want but the difference in lifting height is a must for me loading round bales and dump trucks. Get the vertical exhaust for 25 bucks when you buy it if it doesn't come with it. Makes a real difference in how much tier4 4 emmissions you eat :licking: and you won't have to chase your windrows square bailing as the down-swept exhaust will blow your windrow to the other side of the field like a leaf blower i added it after market and still wasn't bad but if you get it when you buy it's only the 25 bucks. Also unless you a pretty good mechanic you don't want to take all the parts off the new tractor to put the vertical exhaust on i.e. remove gas tank, fuel filter, hood, bracket, cluster, :confused2: pretty much the rear of the engine compartment of the tractor. Overall this seems to be a good tractor.

This is my only present and future concern!!!! We shall see in the future how well the tier 4 technologically computer advanced too complicated for what it does engine holds up. And hopefully never find out how much a 10 minuet computer update zap costs??? Ever !!!:D

Safe Tractoring to all if i have any future updates i will post hope this update helps, informs or just intrests someone

Thanks for the update. One of the lessons here is to find and keep a good dealer.

Glad you got your issues sorted. I traded my 50 couple months ago for a T4.75 to get a cab. Wish New Holland offered the WM in a cab configuration.

Well good morning to all following reading and just looking. New update on the Workmaster 60 and i may have spoke too soon in the last post!

The Workmaster 60 is in the shop. Dealer came and picked it up and still waiting on the diagnosis, this is twice now in less than 3 weeks the first issue was a small but aggravating one during hay. The intake to turbo blew off took into dealer and they fixed it within a 24 hr period no problem, they also done a computer update because i started getting a random trouble code again and that fixed that also. Then last Friday i was moving some dirt and the loader got real sluggish and the engine started dogging down and after shutting it off was hard to start and the three point was stuck in the up position with my bush hog on it. Checked around and everywhere the hydraulics were supposed to run was screaming hot (ie under seat , draft control levers lines etc) :( so i limped it home and called the dealer and they came got it last Monday. My analysis was the hydraulic pump had seized up and that was causing the engine dog down but no official word yet from the dealer. So looks like here we go again Round 2 anyone :D

P.S. anyone have a massey ferguson 2607h to tell me about good, bad, im looking lol

Man I think you get the lemons or something dang! I've got 114 hours on mine working the snot out of it without any problems. Not yard maintenance type stuff either.

But I'll say this, if I had two of the same brand do this to me, I would be switching colors also. Tip the preacher extra on Sunday or something man, lol!

Thanks for reading BMan2005, i don't know if i will try to switch or not yet. my financial adviser ( aka wife ) says we may just have to ride this one out. however the president of the blue tractor company mite not ought to visit anytime soon...lol however like i say i am looking around a little. and i do like the 60 when i can keep it going and by the way 1 have 125 hrs on mine and was trouble free until 118 or so........ good luck

Also my dealer works half day on Saturdays so this morning after the last post i received word that they have a new hydraulic pump and sensor ordered for it they expect it to be here next week......

Really a shame tractor companies dont enforce quality anymore. I guess tractor manufacturing is a lot more slack than shipbuilding, here at BIW, Bath built is best built, when a destroyer is delivered to the Navy they get the best of the best, mostly cause we build each ship 3 times because quality control is so stringent, so when the Navy gets the ship, BIW always gets a thanks from the Navy on a well built Destroyer.

Side note>>>>>>>hope these thing are never used to the full potential, just chase a few pirates around Africa and show up for parades and be looked at.
