Saw a Documentary on the crash of 29. Back then, traffic cops stood atop high podiums and directed trafffic. Certain powerful people would come to the NYSE everyday at the same time. The cops would look out for them and give them clear unimpeaded sailing.

My property is off grid and I would hate to see how many solar panels it would take and how long it would take to recharge it.

Electric for recon? I can see that, if they have the necessary range.

Police around here use drones to assist in locating felons on the run or lost hikers and such. A long way from what is proposed as offensive weapons. Electric aircraft carrier? Ha. They were on the right track with nuclear power. Maybe a resurgence of the fabled Flux Capacitor of days gone by. About as possible, LOL

Timed stoplights kill businesses in downtowns, especially on one-way streets. They don't give people time to parallel park, and people are more likely to zip through town VS stopping and visiting businesses in town. Parallel parking on the left side of a one-way street is a lot harder as well. And it's more dangerous and uninviting for pedestrians to have traffic zipping by VS slowed by lights.

I have never witnessed traffic prevent someone from parallel parking when a space was open. Or from being able to pull out of the spot because someone will stop behind to let you out so they can have the spot.

Is not my duty to burn gas to provide business for merchants on the road. Their business is already limited by the number of parking spaces.
