Our local dealer says any 4000 series and up are made here - 3000 and down are Yanmar. I guess they need to do some dealer training to keep the story straight.

Since those are 6000 series built in Mannheim Germany, it is a safe bet that is the Rhine, which conveniently passes through Mannheim :thumbsup:[

Well its all in good fun! Best freind just bought a JD (3038).. Sold the Ford 1710 he had for 12 years.. So i guess its carrying over from this past weekend..

You are right those JD guys are touchy- they treated my post like a bee just buzzing around. Leave it alone and it will go away..

The Kubota guys arent like that they would have been all over it the second I posted.. So it could be a little of your #1 and #2..

man..what a bunch of touchy people we have here. just because a dealer tells someone something thats wrong, doesnt brand them or the person quoting what the dealer told them as a liar.

All anyone needs to do is search your past posts. You and I have been around this before. Just because you keep saying it does not make it true.

well, all i can tell you is i have the quote from john deere in my office. it was for the 4320 cab with some added extras, like rear remotes, rear lights, radio. and it was that much more than what i paid for mt kioti. mind you the john deere here was more than the one your quoting. jd also called me back and told me that the r4 tires would add another 800 to the bid he gave me. now im wondering if this dealership was just trying to make a load of $$$ off of me. i didnt try other JD dealerships for a price comparison.
this dealership printed me the following JD4320 + loader = 39,200 (they did not give me a 15% off list price deal), 1st rear remote = $899 2nd=$400, Rear light = $210, Radio = $466.00 = $41,175 (this is figure on my bid sheet). now add $800 for the r4 tires.

Glad I don't have to buy green tractors in northern idaho...They didn't offer you anything off list? Ouch.

So, you got all the above options for only $27k ? You got a great deal if you did. Hope your tractor is everything you need it to be.

These kind of bashing threads crop up about every month and get perpetuated by the uninformed usually by what they were told by their salesperson. And then you got people like Andy....:confused2:

ya, my dealership didn't offer me anything....they were only willing to knock off 500 for CASH sale. so far im very happy with what i bought. i guess in hindsight i should have shopped a few other JD dealerships. I went back to the one i bought my old JD from, and have been buying parts from for 14 years. now im kinda pissed off that they weren't offering me anything off of list.
