X350 deck locked

I have an X350, and the deck is locked in the down position. The deck pedal is frozen and won't move. I am at the age where I have difficulty working on a mower, and just wondered if anyone had an answer for this problem. The mower has less than 400 hours, and has caused me more problems than my old LX172 with 2200 hours. Thanks in advance...

Just a guess, but sounds like the leveling device is above, rather than under, the deck leveling control.
It's designed to hold the deck up at whatever the lowest setting is at, and if the deck has been removed then this problem can happen.

Thanks for your response. Any suggestion as how to correct this? I am, however, not aware of the deck ever being removed

Pull back on the pedal, then push down on the lock knob on the dash.
