I changed engine oil & filter, the hydro filter, and the hydraulic filter at 50, 150, and 300 hrs just for extra measure, I have not changed the hydraulic oil yet.
You will not lose much oil changing the Hydro transmission filter, but when you change the main Hydraulic filter oil will pour out like crazy (use the shop-vac method)
When I stuck the shop vac cone in the fill hole all the way it did not touch the oil. I had the wife hold it tight and turned on the shop vac while I spun the old filter off and spun the new one on. The shop vac did not suck up any oil. No mess, worked way better than expected.
OK couple? 's....which filter loses the oil, the upper one behind the kick panel or the other larger one?....and wouldn't you be better off just using a clean drain pan and filtering the oil to put back in??...seems like my shop vac would suck the oil out of the sump
