The first time the axle broke they replaced the Amsoil with another synthetic oil from NAPA due to possible contamination issues from the axle breaking. I would expect them to do the same this time.
DaveNJ and others if you have input - How many hours do you have on yours? I had 100 hours the first time it broke and was at 226 hours this time. I would say the most demanding thing I do on my tractor is stump removal. Prior to the first axle breakage I had removed 26 stumps. I have removed an additional 29 stumps since the first axle replacement.
When setting up to dig with the BH. I have the tractor in 2WD Low, running 2500-2600 rpm. I will curl the loader bucket all the way under to the stops, plant the loader bucket tooth bar in the ground taking the weight off the front wheels, set the brake and then get on the BH, set the outriggers and begin digging. This is the best method I had found to keep from pulling myself into the hole when digging. Are others doing similar things when using their backhoe? Could this method be contributing to the problem?
I just want to figure out what is causing this issue. If anyone has any thoughts let me know.
Thanks
