What does your manual say? 2250 psi seems entirely too low.

I agree, what does YOUR manual say hitecredneck1? It should be listed in there.
I called my local LS dealer and he looked in the manual. It did not list a pressure for the X4040H, but he said that the gear version is rated at ~2450PSI.
He gave me the number for LS corporate (252-984-0700) and said to ask for someone in service. I did that and the gentleman who I spoke to said that for the X4040H "The system pressure should be between 2250 and 2450 PSI, but not over 2450PSI"

Just found it on, pg 7-4 of Operators Manual System pressure 2466 max. Looks like the frame may also be an issue.
"If you go and start adjusting pressures on loader pressure and bend your engine frame you will void your warranty. "

You (or your dealer) should be fine to raise it up to that point then. If they want to be super cautious, they could do 2440.

tractor is currently at the dealer getting leaks and this issue fixed. Going rerun tests when it comes back.
trade it, you can jump up and down and throw fit and I bet they won't buy it back. how are you doing you test, forks flat lifting straight up, curling forks back then up, many ways of doing it. does loader have two holes for cyclinders one for height and one for load?

True, but all I can do is document and share the test results and methods used. Forks were inserted flat then lifted up. The loader does not have two holes, but the Kubota M6060 does.
