tractor is back from dealer, who claims it will now lift ~2200 + forks but due to the summer heat and my back issues I have not retested as yet. Also due to lack of LS support I'm still inclined to sell or trade it.

That's sounds more like lack of dealer support, not lack of LS support.

You can build a force gauge using a hydraulic cylinder and a pressure gauge. It is easier then loading a pallet with salt.

I agree. The whole thing goes back to a dealer who couldn't/wouldn't lookup the right pressure in the owners manual and insisted that the correct pressure was lower than the.
My local LS dealer (who I have used for a few things like BCS tiller parts) had no problem finding the right system pressures in the manual, and they had no problem giving me the number to call LS to confirm as the pressure rating they had did not specify what the pressure was for a HST, just for a gear transmission.
If we need another machine, I will give them a call...

Actually LS provided no positive help. LS insisted ~1500 lbs was what it should actually lift w/forks. This is my first and last LS tractor. Still have some leaks neither the dealer or LS fixed. Poor quality control in my opinion.

Luckily for many others yours is the exception.

Such a bizarre account ... Completely different experience than pretty much every other LS owner that has reported on here, including myself.

This POS LS is gone, bought a New Kubota CTL SLV75-2. Will never buy LS again. Crappy dealer, and Crappy LS support.
