XR4100 Question

I'm not sure if I am using the correct terminology but can the XR4100 series lift and curl the FEL at the same time? When I was test driving one I couldn't get it to do both functions at the same time but that could have been because I am completely green when it comes to tractors.

It should be able to lift and curl as well as lower and dump at the same time. Just need to move the joystick in between the Lift (pull back), lower (push forward), curl (push Left), dump (push right) positions.

It's all a matter of operating both directions at the same time (left & back). I know that it took a little bit for my joystick to get "loose" enough to to both easy.

Yes you can do both at the same time, but on mine, (XR4145H) it is very slow and the joy stick has to be in exactly the right spot to do so

Same here. Tractors in this size range have smallish hydraulic pumps and basic valves. They will do it, just not very fast.

The loader valve that Kubota uses (at least on the grand L series) does a much better job at dual function.

My Grand series Kubota does duel function pretty fast.

My 4046 doesn't do this well at all. I've used a lot of equipment with loaders and it is one of the worst I've found. It's a pain in the butt when moving a lot of material.

My 2013 R4041 is terrible with this function also, that and the bucket flop are about the only minor problems I can complain about. Very happy with my LS.

No machine is perfect. I'm very happy with my LS as well.

I've noticed that a lot of us LS owners have the bucket flop problem. I just started another thread on that in the hydraulics section for possible answers or cures.

Do the LS loaders have a separate "fast dump" position? If they do, use that valve position and your floppy bucket days will be over.

Not to my knowledge. If it does I haven't found it yet. All previous tractors I've had did have fast dump. I almost bent the joystick trying to get fast dump and just figured it doesn't have it. In order to back drag I (and I'm sure others) have to lower the bucket then push the joystick for more dump pressure to get the proper angle.

Same here. I originally posted the same question when I got my 4046. It does work but RPMs need to be up and you have to find the sweet spot.
