XUV Front End Rattle Noise

My observation.

Normally in forums people will post problems and members will reply with similar problems.
Then the discussion will turn into how the member solved the problem and others will assist in the fix.

That hasn't been the case with the xuv.

One person (1) thought they had a front end rattle.(at least they did own an xuv)

Then another potential xuv owner started another thread about the xuv rattle.

Another xuv owner wasn't happy with his xuv (at all) and returned it to the dealer. (his money, his right)

I own an xuv and it is used by my 11 yo, my 17 yo and my wife.
It's a rock crawling mud bogging backwoods loving gardening machine.

This is my 3rd gator. I have had normal problems with each of them.
I broke the front axle on my 05 and also busted 2 front fenders and 1 starter.
My 06 hpx broke one front axle and 1 fender.(winch was left unspooled)

My XUV has had 1 flat tire. (drove over railroad spike)

The xuv has proven to be stronger faster and an all around better machine than either hpx.
In reality isn't that the way it should be?
Contrary to popular belief the xuv is a huge upgrade over the hpx.

Please someone post some real verifiable problems with the xuv.

MULE IS 3 WHEEL DRIVE. XUV IS ALL WHEEL DRIVE..

the mule has alot more attachments you can buy for it. and the mule has a lift kit you can buy too. i wouldn't worry about the 3 and 4 wheels because you ain't got no clutch enclosure to be going in mud plus the mule is more suited for mud riding than the deisel xuv checkout the utlity outdoor forumes they have alot on the mules and them deisel are pretty nice .you never know there might even be an enclosure for the clutch on the mule ??read up in this forum on the mules to see how they do if i'm thinkin right isn't the 3010 a transport if so it would kinda have the upper hand on the xuv right there because of the rear seat and bigger bed. i remember seing one at a raly and the clutch enclosure vent was run up through the rops now i don't know if it was a deisel or not but i'm pretty sure it does "i might be wrong but maybe not.

here's a picture of the engine on the mule and yes it does have a clutch enclosure so i think it would be a better choice if your going off roading in wet and muddy conditions. funny if kawasaki can put a enclosure on their deisel why not deere?

Mine had a slight rattle in the right front side when I first got the machine. Turned out to be outter pad chatter on that side. Dealer bled the brakes a couple pumps and all is fine now. .................Roger

could someone post a pic of where the adjustment screw is?....old thread but new to me O7 XUV....i there a place to look up the serial #"s of the 1's with bad front diff's?
