Believe me, I've had offers for both.

The FJ40 is a '71. The frame has been acid dipped and painted. It has a Chevy 230 L6 in it that came from my '70 Nova. 4BBL, headers, big cam, high HP and high RPMs, just the opposite of what you want in an FJ. The metal body has been acid dipped and awaits metal work. I have an extra metal firewall. Two sets of windshields. a couple tops. A full fiberglass body. A vinyl half-cab.... if I had an extra frame I could build two complete units. Anyhow, it's been in storage for a couple decades and it's time to come home and get put back together.

The bike is a '77 Yamaha RD400. Too much work to list. When it last ran I was turning sub-12's in the quarter @ 119mph. Not bad for 25 cubic inches. :laughing:

I would be to scared of the bike!(I am older and thankfully wiser now) Fj sounds nice.
I never had a fj. I started with an old cj7 back in the day. Sold and have always missed so i grabbed a cj5. The only acid this one has seen is acid rain! More of a worker, let me see if I can bring topic full circle.

This is the final iteration of the 3pt hitch for the jeep. It is under bed mounted to frame so no loss of bed space. When jeep moved the gas tank from under the driver seat to between rear frame rails, hitch could not be installed

The stickered stack of lumber that I pictured in Reply #239 has grown quite a bit (it's now over 9800 board feet) and will increase next week when I saw the 2X4's. This will be the framing lumber for the customer's new home.
