Yanmar 3000 Hyd pump

Good morning,
I was running the Kubota L35 we have at work and noticed right away that it has much faster implement speed than the front loader on my YM 3000. The filter screen on the Yanmar clean with fresh JD 303 and the Koyker 160 loader on it will lift 1000 lbs with no strain, leads me to think the pump on it is good. Reading in the manual it states that the pump on the Yanmar puts out about 9 gpm. The specs on the L35 say about the same but what a difference!! The cyl on both loaders look to be 2". Wondering if Yanmar makes a bigger pump to go on the front of the engine that could speed things up or might I have a tired Hyd pump??? Any thoughts?? Thanks,

JD sells a high-volume pump kit for the JD850 and 950 (YM2500 and 3000, respectively). The JD high volume pump is 11 gpm vs. the 9 gpm stock. The high volume pump is used with the power steering system. I assume the same pump is available from Yanmar.

Check and see if your loader is plumbed serially like this, where it gets all the fluid when in use, otherwise, in parallel, it has to share fluid with the 3ph constantly.

If it has a decent lift capacity , I doubt the pump is bad. To test it, plumb a 2500 psi gauge in place of a loader line & activate the control. It should read 2000-2100 psi. I can probably supply you with a larger capacity pump.

After viewing the Koyker diagram, Yes it is plumbed to the diagram.

Is it possible there is something amiss with the hoses/plumbing, restricted flow? Nothing to compare it with but I don't have any complaints about lift speed with my Koyker 155 on my Fx24 tractor.

Is it possible the Kabota has smaller cyl as they would react faster than 2" cyl on the Koyker for same flow rate.

Is your hydraulic flow valve open all the way. Mine is under the seat. I can adjust the flow rate. You probably know bout this already but just in case...

I thought that valve only controlled the drop rate of the 3pt hitch.
